2011 Call for Art: Lighting Competition
The fourth annual Plain Green Conference sought statements of interest and qualifications from artists for the creation of two luminaires made of reused materials for installation at the LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) Silver tracked City of Sioux Falls Environmental Office and Education Center.
Luminaires are to be constructed using substantially reclaimed, recycled, reused, or waste material with a UL Listed light fixture. The material, fabrication, and installation budget was $1,000 per luminaire.
